2. Well I sure hope so
it would help make the last five years worthwhile if we had something like that to laugh at.

5. As certainly as Hillary killed Juanita Broderick
and Clinton raped Vince Foster, or whatever other malarkey the freeps dream up.

sadly, I'm with the forces of light so I can't make up crap like the dark side does. The truth is I don't know. But maybe Jeff/Jim has a nice stained dress somewhere ...

9. some folks think so...
The Voice of the White House

February 19, 2005 ; “The internet anti-Bush people are completely right about the Karl Rove/Gannon love affair business. I have been repeatedly told by people on the inside that would know, that Rove, who is a closet queen, has had an affair with this creep (it's all over now thanks to the heat generated by the alternate media. )Karl likes to be dominated and Gannon, an ageing weight lifter, likes to be around the seat of power...if you will forgive a terrible pun. Also, Fat Karl is the one, informed sources have repeatedly advised me, that leaked the name of Frau Wilson to Novak.

Fat Karl will now abandon his boyfriend with speed and the entire Baboon Palace will try to start newsworthy trouble somewhere else to keep the boobery interested. The Scott Peterson business is behind us so the bet is that Michael Jackson’s new problems will be integrated with horror stories about the Iranians torturing kittens (a la Bill Frist) and threatening to nuke Mother Israel next Monday. "snip.

12. Not Mehlman....Scotty
If it were Mehlman, he would have been given a job as a "fixer" at the RNC, not a fake job at the White House, with the cover of "Talon news." If you are carrying on with someone, you want to be in the same building.

There is a nexus between McClellan (a TEXAS boy, Press Secretary) and Bobby EBERLE (a TEXAS boy, owner of Talon) and Eberle's employee, Gannon-Guckert.

Someone needs to find the connection between Scotty and Bobby. Someone should ask Ari how he knew to pick up the phone and call Bobby when he had problems with the line of questioning JimmyJeff was pursuing. Who knows, automatically, who to call regarding the employment status of some minor player who shows up on a day pass? It doesn't compute. Ari probably had to ask SCOTT for the number...

And Ari couldn't get out of there fast enough. What did HE know, and when did he know it? Why did he leave so quick? Maybe he has a shred, a small shred, of decency?

11. Well, he had to have some sort of sugar daddy in the White House
to run interference so he wouldn't be subjected to a Secret Service or FBI background check, neither of which he had a hope of passing.

I dunno if it was a purely ideological love affair or an unconsummated (or even consummated) physical affair, but I do know there were hundreds of people who could have fulfilled Gannon/Guckert's function as propaganda lecturer during press conferences without the same sort of baggage. Shoot, some of them even worked for legitimate news services.

See, that's the problem. Guckert's baggage should have disqualified him and there were lots of people at WorldNutDaily and Newsmax who would have jumped at the chance to do what he did. Somebody wanted him and him alone, and wanted him badly enough to risk national security to get him.

And that means he had to have some sort of very highly placed sugar daddy. That means there are very few candidates, and Rove is among them. So is Scooter Libby. So are Bush and Cheney. Dina Powell didn't have that sort of pull, although she had to rubberstamp his admittance. Scott McClellan doesn't have that kind of pull, although he had to play along.

The list really is a very short one.

15. Scotty has been with Bush since '99
Don't dismiss him too quickly. He earned his stripes when the nitwit was governor, and during the 00 campaign, where he was INVALUABLE, according to most sources. Just because he PREFERRED the second banana role doesn't mean he didn't have clout. And don't forget, he wasn't just the deputy press secretary, he was also on the rolls as DEPUTY ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT--he had a straight shot at the chimp, and didn't have to go through Ari in that position. Besides, you don't put your best guy out front when you are first starting out--you always make mistakes initially, you want someone who can take the hits (and get fired, if needed) out front dealing with the press. Ari was out front, but he may not have had full authority in his area of responsibility. In fact, I'll bet he didn't.

Check out this personnel announcement from the WH. Note the timelines--Ari was out a short MONTH after he announced his departure on 20 June 03. A bit HASTY, if you ask me. Almost as though he just HAD to get out of there. Makes me wonder...WHY? Ari knows WAY more than he is telling about this situation, IMHO. Some clever reporter needs to get Ari on deep background and find out just what the hell is going on. Ari will be reluctant to talk, because he has a book coming out next month, but they have to keep pushing him--hell, he could rewrite the book and make a bundle on paperback sales...

President George W. Bush today announced that he will name Scott McClellan to be Assistant to the President and White House Press Secretary. Currently McClellan is a Deputy Assistant to the President and the Principal Deputy White House Press Secretary.Prior to joining the White House staff, he served as the traveling press secretary for the Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign.

McClellan began working as a gubernatorial spokesman for then-Governor Bush in early 1999. Previously, he served as chief of staff to a Texas state senator, worked on grassroots outreach for lawsuit reform in Texas, and managed three successful campaigns for statewide office. McClellan is a native of Austin, Texas. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas.

McClellan will take over for current White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, who has announced that he will depart the White House next month.

14. I think Scott's eyes get misty when he calls on him. Rove is probably a
"top", too, so they wouldnt mix well, but Scott is definitely the "bottom" type.
