Hell Kerry should've ran an ad like this before the election. It is pretty damn low though.

1. This is the next GOP propagandagate. Don't let it go unnoticed.

Mary Ann Akers at Roll Call delivers a late-Thursday afternoon scoop.

A new online short featuring House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), a takeoff on a Capital One credit card TV ad featuring comedian David Spade, was removed from the House Republican Conference’s website today after complaints by Democrats that the movie was a partisan commercial bankrolled by taxpayers.

Sources say the minority staff of the House Administration Committee complained to the majority staff who, in turn, asked the GOP Conference to pull the video, which, for the record, was pretty funny.

House franking regulations stipulate that “comments critical of policy or legislation should not be partisan, political or personalized.” The video was all three.

2. "which, for the record, was pretty funny" Huh? It was fucking lame.
The only funny part was the unintentional humor involved with trying to dress up a little neocon Iraq-dodger to look like a librul. :eyes:

3. I have never seen this before
They gaddam won the gaddam election and they continue to behave as if they are still in the campaign where slurs and sleaze and slime is the norm. Indeed it is the natural norm of the Republican party. They have been enabled and are running with it, almost unimpeded.

I think this is partly the fault of the Democrats, who cowered and caved and declared themselves, by doing so, vulnerable to all attacks, campaign or not. And, they continue to do so, save a few brave, honorable souls.

My two cents.

I hope they realize it now, although I am skeptical to say the least given our kissy wissy ass kissing DLC, war mongering boys like Lieberman and others.

I do NOT think we need to go more toward their side in order to win and I will never again vote for any candidate that is playing it that that way, electable or not.

4. Agree with your statement
"I think this is partly the fault of the Democrats, who cowered and caved"

Dems like Lieberman are responsible. Reminds me in the real old days when wise fatherly types advised girls, "If you ever get raped, just sit back and enjoy it."
