The Justice Department has launched a wide-ranging federal probe into suspected antitrust violations by Vermont's health-care system during the time it was being overseen by former governor and one-time presidential candidate Howard Dean.

"The sordid vortex of these investigations can be directly traced back to the Dean administration’s inability to hold these institutions accountable," Vermont's Guardian newspaper complained on Friday, the day before Dean was crowned chairman of the Democratic Party.

Cheap Tickets is owned By Cendant Corp, which owns a ton of consumer- oriented companies (Orbitz, Century 21, Howard Johnson, Avis & Budget, etc.)

I just e-mailed the CheapTicket public relations department, complaining about them advertising on such a biased site, and copied it to the head of Cendant Corporate Communications. ( [email protected] copied to: [email protected] )

I told them I wouldn't be using CheapTickets or any of their companies ever again.

I'll be damned if I'm going to patronize companies that spread RW crap...
