Creepy - kid with magic marker W on his head
The parents of this child are the reason why America's in the shape she's in.

9. That's what I was thinking.
Imagine this poor kid, being told his whole two years of life that he is absolutely NOT to write on himself with markers. Then his folks pull him aside and scrawl on his forehead before they go see the scary man. And there is absolutely no way the little guy can possibly understand what makes it OK now, or why they're doing it at all.

14. Poor Child.
For the love of God, making your child a prop for a photo op is so wrong.
You can tell that kid is not happy.

Look at what * is doing for these kids.

27. kids enjoying the good times that is dangerous weaponry
Now that's what I call bringing Freedom and Democracy to Iraq! Next we'll see FAT kids playing with guns, and then we'll know that we've turned Iraq into a stronghold of liberty and freedom, freedom and liberty in the middle East. :eyes:

15. It's a cult
Remember Jack Black's creepy character in "Bob Roberts"? Back when that movie came out ('91?) the marker on the forehead reminded people of the Manson family. Now we have people putting the cult mark on their own children. It's lunacy.

Re-watch "Bob Roberts" if you haven't lately. It's scary how prescient Tim Robbins was all those years ago. Especially notice how the news reporters in the movie report on Roberts vs how they report on his rival. It's like it was the prototype for Fox News.

16. Maybe there's a social worker that's a party member...
that can give those parents a hard time. A threat to take away their kid could keep them in line for years.

17. I once predicted: by the time W is done, the letter will be withdrawn
from the alphabet the way swastika was removed from the runic one. It may be a while until sanity returns in the world, but I still stand by it.

too thrilled. Poor guy. He's probably thinking "why did my mommy do this to me?" Heh heh. :eyes: I've never seen photos of Bush with kids except photo-op's like this. I've seen great photos of Kerry with kids and hanging out with them and everything.

and every kid Bush was holding in the campaign looked unhappy, if not outright crying?

28. I did notice that

I have a few photos of Kerry with kids. One is of him in Boston holding a little toddler who's about two/three and the little baby is so cute and clinging to Kerry. Another is of him with some pre-teens playing soccer and another one of my favorite's is of him from the middle east and a little boy gave him a drawing of him as a solider in Vietnam. :) Oh and I forgot about one: this little toddler with his dad and he has on a yellow bib and a John Kerry sticker on it and he looks really happy and is smiling big and his eyes sparkle and are bright. :)
