(5) Senator Pryor (Ark).

(6) Senator Nelson of Florida -on edit-

We will remember.

I'm proud of both my Wisconsin Senators, and of Kerry, a New Dem who voted NO.

Gonazles is a hundred times more detrimental to civil rights, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. His nomination is one more step closer to a Fascist Police State.

36. I could be wrong, but, I think that C-SPAN2 had a "subscript"...
that indicated that the "not voting" Senators were:

Baucus - (D) MT
Burns - (R) MT
Conrad - (D) ND
Inouye - (D) HI

39. Torture Boy
I still can't believe the Senators voted 60 for Torture Boy. God help us all.

Who knows what hideous activity will be "legal" next. Maybe taking dissenters and locking them away....but hey, they've done that.

I got the following email this afternoon from my 4-my-country.com website:

"Perhaps you folks who are taking pot shots at President bush would be willing to reveal you names and affiliations so those of us that you are asking to buy your product can identify you when the time comes for reckoning. It is always easy to sit on the sidelines and criticize, but knowing who you are will allow you to receive the recognition which you think you deserve."

42. I'm happy--36 out of 41 ain't bad
I thought it would be worse. Token resistance is better than none, especially when you know they'll get nothing in return. All 41 of them can stop a vote? At least now there's a chance of that happening.
