Shrum to leave consulting
Through someone who would know: Bob Shrum, who was the media/message consultant behind Gore and Kerry, is leaving consulting to teach at NYU.

8. That's nonsense and is insulting to the great teachers I've had
That Shrum is worthless has nothing to do with the teaching profession.

16. Thanks
I've always hated that moronic "those who can.." quote.

George W. Bush version:
Those who can, do, those who can't get their father to bail them out...

Now he is going to teach his losing ways to political students at NYU? The students should ask for tuition refunds.

7. Good
I hope he stays at NYU. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but his consulting "skills" left me extremely cold.

13. He worked for Schwarzenegger in CA
so he's got THAT. It's not like he's 0 fer 2 ; he's run many successful campaigns.

It's just these last two that just did so much damage to us.
