* pledges support for rummy....how soon before he resigns?
with all the public comments being made against rumsfeld from both sides of the aisle, doesn't it seem that the white house's blatant show of support of him is just a way of padding the way for his pending resignation? this way the white house can say it was rummy's decision alone and that while they have repeatedly acknowledged their support of his handling the DOD, they will nonetheless accept his decision to resign....once again insulating the chimpy from anything that even remotely smells like a wrong decision....

3. not leaving
Some GOP senators and others came out today to support him. His whole life has been in politics both good and bad. This isn't anything new!I don't think he's going anywhere for a long, long time.

7. The US MAJORITY want rumsfailed to resign. But since when does bushCartel
listen to the American MAJORITY? bush ignored the VAST MAJORITY of the entire world and waged his war of aggression against Iraq.

US MAJORITY??? Just another "focus group" for Dictator bush to ignore.
