Rove wants Sen Nelson as Ag Chief (ROVE UP TO NO GOOD!)

Just saw it on Inside Politics with woofwoof. Rove wants 56 senate seats so is offering the USDA cabinet position to Sen. Nelson. Please contact Sen. Nelson letting him know he shouldn't do this.

No doubt he'll take it, too. Maybe they can stuff the cabinet with 4 other dumb Dem Senators and get rid of that pesky filibuster for good. Then make the new "cabinet members" sit on their thumbs until they quit.

5. I think the WH is pissed that the conversation has been leaked to the

media. The WH won't confirm it took place. I have a feeling the leak may end the whole thing.

I guess Nelson's term is up in 2006.

Bill Nelson is the only Senator who has agreed thus far to sign off on the Congressional Black Caucus' proposed electoral protest of this past election (recall "F9/11"). No way is he going to be bought off by KKKarl. What a hollow ploy!

I am from Nebraska and will definitely pass the message along. Problem I have with Ben Nelson is he has not been true to the Democratic party in Nebraska who voted him into the Senate. He is and has been a political climber. The other factor is he comes from an Ag state whose economy is mainly based upon. Will be a difficult task and my guess is that Lee Terry...republican congress person will win Senate seat. He just won re-election in this state. :puke:
