CALIFORNIA SECESSION?
This is a weird idea I had last night but I'd thought i'd throw it out:

What if liberals from all over the south and west moved to California to the tune of 5-10 million adults? We might not be able to seccede but we could take over the state and in four years, have enough strength to take back the house and the White House just with the shift in electorals. Thoughts?

1. Only problem...
the shift in electorals wouldn't be shown until the 2012 election.

3. I would move from Massachusetts.
If California ever seceded and the northeast wasn't part of it.
If the both the northeast and the west coast seceded they're be no one else left to fund their wars.

4. Yes, that's a weird idea all right
California is almost as divided as the nation. We have far more red counties than blue. Luckily for the blue-oriented, the latter includes the most populous ones.

What if liberals from all over the south and west moved to California to the tune of 5-10 million adults?

The traffic sucks badly enough now, thank you.

6. what if liberals and people from the blue states moved to the red states?
we need you here to keep this bullshit from happening again.

i think a few million progressives from california, illinois, the northwest, and new england, can come here for a little missionary work and to establish a new majority.

7. We are union, together as one, What makes us great
is our diversity. Yes, it is appealing to go off and live only with those who think like we do, but that actually weakens us. Monocultures die swiftly.

Instead of homogenizing, we need to begin massive citizen education and policy awareness in those states (especially states on the edge like Missouri, Ohio, Florida, etc.) where there is a strong Democratic presence already. From there we can move out to states where we don't have a good strong hold of support and lay the groundwork for the party to grow.

11. Better plan
Cali is already a lock for us, Florida is the one that we need to control. And all we need is approximately a half million liberals taken from the northeast to move on down to where the weather is warm and the politicians are corrupt.
