9. We should, then when elected vote the opposite...
Kind of the inverse of Chimpy's "compassionate conservatism".

7. what has Terry got to do with it ?
the people who won were anti gay, anti choice, racist types. that says more about the people who voted for them than about any strategy.

6. You gotta wonder after 8 years...
...if the Republicans continue screwing us over, if people will finally wise up and realize that they have recieved nothing out of the deal.

They've had four, and made our nation worse. Imagine what happens if it lasts a decade.

Oh, right. People are stupid. :)

8. I said the same thing in 2000
I said, "No fucking way can Bush EVER win in four years, he'll be the laughingstock of the world." I got the second part right, but the first remains to be seen, and even if Kerry wins this should have been a landslide. Inexcusable.

Look at the polling trend with this election. When everyone ws screaming landslide--even though I knew it to be true with the numbers--I knew we were dealing with a theft team larger than most could fathom. This election is being stolen. Bottom line.

14. I agree
I think our party has a good platform, and a good message, but the American people don't want to hear it. So much of winning an election is about marketing. It's about which party can appeal most to the whims of the American people. The Democatic party is loosing that campaign- the marketing campaign.

We as a country just haven't suffered enough. But we will. Bush and the Republicans "won"....the 50% who enabled ought to get in line for their kewpie doll.
