2. Anyone that is of no use to PNAC.
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 01:18 PM by aden_nak
The only PNAC member in danger is Rumsfeld, possibly. Although he is a direct signer, he would be the easiest person to dump ALL of the blame onto. Cheney will walk, George W. will walk because Jeb is a signer and isn't going to let Lil' Brother go down like that. Anyone OUTSIDE of PNAC is pertty much fucked. Ashcroft will take a lot of heat, because he's even more useless to them than Rummy. As for Condi Rice, well. . . I hope she's handy with a shiv.

4. if bush blanket pardons the mess of them
we can still get him and send the rest to the international court for the war crimes trial.

they are still vulnerable to civil charges.

13. No- the weed will pardon everyone!
The same mentality that prevented the weed from joining the international court will allow him to pardon all. No one will answer for the sins of this admin -- not in this life time at least!

23. Really? And to think he's the greatest president we've had
Go on chat rooms. See what the Bush supporters say - as they glow about Ronald Reagan being one of, if not the greatest, president we've ever had.

What's 100 indictments?

21. They need to be silenced once and for all
Or they'll be back. The likes of Rove and his buddies will not rest and will make it very difficult on future work by Dems. They need to pay for their crimes and I'm sure there are plenty of them.

Problem is, congress, if it's run by the GOP, will not investigate the Bush administrations mishandlings and criminal behavior.

Pres. Kerry can sic the Justice Department on them but congress funds the department's special prosecutions.

But what we don't want is a Kerry administration that says "let bygones be bygones" because Rove and his ilk will be back, in just two years, they'll be sabotaging and stealing and trying to make Kerry look bad. See William Jefferson Clinton for references.

28. We can look at citizen suits--such as those available...
under the False Claims Act. Or civil RICO (racketeering) action.

Sadly, they will destroy evidence during Transition Period.

26. well...
I optimistically vote "YES", but realistically, my expectations are low. I hope Nixon is not the precedent, and that Kerry encourages investigations when he's in office.

1. Valerie Plame investigation. douchebag Novak explained he heard her name from two senior administration officials.

2. Sibel Edmonds' allegations. Her claims warrant investigation, as she has openly stated that if her allegations are fully investigated, prominent people face prosecution and incarceration. She's been gagged by ashcroft.

3. Larry Franklin/Doug Feith/Paul Wolfowitz investigation. Larry Franklin was the target of a 2-year FBI investigation into possible ESPIONAGE from within the Pentagon, and passing secrets to Israel via AIPAC. The bigger concern was that Israel was directly manipulating draft policy via Franklin. Franklin works under Feith in Pentagon Office of Special Plans.

4. John Ashcroft. Misprisonment of a felon is a criminal charge for knowingly concealing details of a criminal act. Per Edmonds' allegations, he may be complicit in 9/11. Further, obstruction of Justice, as he allegedly quashed the Larry Franklin investigation.

5. Bush/Cheney/Rice/Powell. Lying to Congress and the American people. I don't know if it could ever be established that they purposefully skewed intelligence to justify the war in Iraq... it seems quite believable.

27. Indictments
Wait til January to bring the indictments, Mr. Fitzgerald. No begging your pardons.

Karl & Scooter in the Plame case.
Scooter & Cheney for Halliburton scams.
Feith & Ludie for treason (cooking intelligence).
Bush for treason (lying us into illegal war).
Rumsfeld for war crimes & torture.

Get out the pitchforks!!

30. For torture...
... don't forget the lawyers who trumped up legal justification. Timothy E. Flanigan, John Yoo, Robert Delahunty, plus 2 former Asst. Attorneys General at DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel--including one who is now on the federal bench.
