The DSCC seems very optimistic about taking the Senate.
On their tally of competitive races, only Majette in Georgia and Hoeffel in Missouri are down. Tannenbaum is up a little and Carson is up slightly. Though the date is October 22, so I don't know.

3. Exactly!!!
Kerry alone would be no more able to accomplish anything worthwhile that Clinton was.

In fact, if the repukes maintain both houses of Congress then we can expect another round of impeachment talk to begin by March of 2005. I think that time frame is when the moron Bob Barr first mentioned impeaching Clinton.

And if we don't take the Senate, then the Supreme Court appointments will by necessity be mediocre.

The Senate is a must, the House would be a dream.

4. They were also optimistic in 2002
Fortunately this year we have more than the DSCC to depend on.
