The Military Bush-bot officer next door just accused me of being pro-OBL!
Jackass!!! After waiting and waiting, I finally got a Kerry/Edwards sign yesterday and put it in my front yard. I'm out mowing my lawn and raking leaves and this morning and the asshat Major next door (renters, by the way!) comes out and asks me how in the hell I could support a traitor who supports OBL and Saddam!!!! Honest!!!! I thought you had to have at least a modicum of sense to be an officer in the US Army! Anyway, this jerk goes on and on about how wonderful bunnypants is and why he's the only one who can keep us safe and how a vote for Kerry is a vote for terrorism. I was really caught off-guard since in the 8 months he's lived next door neither he nor his family has ever said two words to us. I just told him I was voting for optimism, hope, unity, and fiscal responsibility instead of war, division, pessimism, fear, and debt. He called me a traitor and stormed off! This, friends, is the mindset of the Bush-bots, and the level of intelligence this POS of a President appeals to. And to think our security is in the hands of asshats like this is a scary thought.

5. It's a shame OBL is still alive;
if he were dead, this wingnut couldn't have had this conversation. And just whose fault is that, huh? shrub, shrub, shrub, and more shrub.

6. Why is a US Army officer sitting in one place for 8 years
He should be rotating at the most every 5 years. He probably has connections.

15. 8 months.
They usually have a 3 year tour.

On topic, that's what fear does to you. Makes you worship the perpetrator.
Other employees..."Don't go complain and stir up trouble. You'll make it worse for the rest of us!"...and they wonder why unions have lost influence, and more work is stacked up on them than before.:eyes:

8. "If you don't support Bush you are a traitor and anti-American"
This mind-set is frighteningly popular in this country. These are the
people who hate freedom: they want a world where they control
others and everyone thinks the same.

Anyway, good luck living next door to this guy.

20. Also, if you don't support Bu$h...you're "anti-God or anti-Christian."

That particular sentiment makes my blood boil whenever I hear it.

Only 2 more days of Junior and his evil regime before election day! Let's all vote his sorry ass out on November 2!

Rain or shine...EVERYONE MUST VOTE!

12. The Military people don't all agree with that
I have worked this year with some people from Killeen, Texas (Fort Hood) and after you manage to convince them Kerry was not going to cut their pay, they had nothing good to say about Bush.

16. I'm going to defend the major being a renter as military families often

are not in one place long enough to make buying a home a reasonable idea. I know this from my life as a military brat; we moved more than forty times by the time I was old enough for college.

I'm not going to defend him for coming onto your property and confronting you about your Kerry/Edwards sign. He was completely out of line. I think I'd be complaining to whoever rents him his home and to his commanding officer. "Conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman."

18. A lot of misinformation is being fed to the troops
I interviewed a young Marine back from Iraq and he repeatedly spouted off Limbaugh crap verbatim. He is convinced that there have been no Iraqi civilians killed by the U.S. - that is just a lie spread by CNN according this young Marine - and he claimed that the majority of U.S. troop deaths have been caused by Kerry voting against the $87 billion. When I tried to explain that the $87 billion had actually been approved he became very angry and said I should quit listening to mainstream press.

The Repugs have been devastating in spreading their misinformation on the $87 billion vote, and Giuliani and Bush are both out spouting off again today.

The Dems should have been pointing out that Kerry put together the first proposal on how the $87 billion should be allocated and Bush threatened to veto the $87 billion. That is the response they need to be voicing repeatedly, not letting people form the false assumption that Kerry prevented $87 billion in funding for the troops.

23. Not CNN, in this case. FOX and Rush, himself, spread the propaganda to
our armed forces. FOX and Rush are what the public TVs and public radios are turned to in their bases.

and unfortunately alot of these folks have nothing but propaganda forced down their throats.

I had no idea that Poppy was such a crook then. It's a very closed society.
