5. It was on MSNBC! They showed live 5-10 minutes of the speech.

"You have the power" fits in very well with his speech, and it's a very strong closing argument. Every poll shows that a solid majority want change. In three days, you have the power to do just that.

I gotta believe Kerry was directing this at Dean people and other lefties who were thinking of Nader or staying home. It's a signal to the base, a clarion call, inspiring them to get out the vote. What a great idea to put this in--I hope it's in every speech until Tuesday. It reminds us what people liked about Dean, even those who thought he was not "presidential." After a campaign based on the power of reason, the line is an appeal straight to the heart of those that truly believe in democracy.

6. When Kerry wins.....I expect him to openly

thank Howard Dean and the Dean supporters of 03 for energizing the Democrats and the country to get out the vote and getting behind him to win this thing. We Dean supporters showed them how to use the Internet, evoked confidence to attack *bush and rendered our base, the base of Howard Dean, to mobilize and implement the grassroots movement into a historic phenomenon.
