Could Early Voting Be Affecting The Polls In States Like Michigan?
I was wondering that perhaps the spike for Bush in Michigan is because so many people have already voted for Kerry and are now not answering the phone when the pollsters call. Any thoughts?

1. the polls
show Kerry leading in MI. Zogby is the only poll showing otherwise.

2. I don't see
How MI could not go for Kerry. We have an extremely popular Democratic Governor, the bulk of the population is in the SE/E area, and that's strongly Democratic. The main Republican areas are in my neck of the woods, the West (which would be the best side, if it would liberal up a little), and a lot of them are so damn lazy when it comes to politics.

I would be floored and extremely disappointed if it went to *. It would fire off some extreme alarm bells for me.

3. If Bush wins the state
He's winning in a landslide.

Kerry's not gonna win OH and lose MI. It just doesn't work that way.

No early voting here. Still lots of recorded political phone calls. The last two times someone polled at this household, they only wanted to talk to the republican voter in the house.
