today about Bush's ad with the fake soldier picture. I was indeed surprised to hear from her.
Judy Woodruff's response to my email.
Dear
Thank you for your email. I'm sorry to disappoint you. I try to ask the most relevant and pointed questions I can in the brief time I am given. I don't believe Ken Mehlman blamed Kerry for the ad. But he did turn the questions around to focus on Kerry, which is a familiar tactic. And one that I believe voters can see through.
' My best,
Judy Woodruff

[email protected]Subject: You missed an opportunity
to ask the hard questions of Mr. Mellman. G.W. Bush is the one who is responsible for this controversial ad with repetitions of soldiers just as he is for this totally wrong war in Iraq. Bush is the one who sent our people to Iraq without the proper body armor. Not John Kerry. John Kerry had nothing to do with that ad with the repeated soldiers, yet you allowed Bush's surrogate to blame Kerry for it. It's beyond my comprehension how you reporters are allowing these people to say these things without your challenging them. You do a disservice to our country by not pressing harder for the truth from both sides. Please, we need the truth, not a partisan view of one candidate over another.
Thank you for reading my email.
