Just saw a commercial on CNN saying we need a president who cares about the safety of his people...brought to you from the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. Wasn't sure what they were getting at specifically cus I missed the first part of the commercial, but just went to their site and the first article under Press Releases is :

Don't get burdened by the ignorant few. What airline did you fly? It might not have been one that has a union.

3. BushCo is trying to cut funding for ATC

and start privatizing it, so air traffic controllers (non-unionized, of course) would be employed by private contractors who would be in it for the bucks more than to protect aviation safety. BTW, the Air Line Pilots Association, the largest pilots' union in the U.S., has also endorsed Kerry.
