George Will: The Economy's Great

Heard on This Week with Little George S.

Will: It won't be the "economy stupid." 4.3% growth,
unemployment lower than when Clinton coasted to reelection.
This economy is GREAT, people are focusing on other issues.

I'm like, "I don't know where you get your delusions,
laser brain."

I guess he forgot about health care costs, rising gas
prices, tuition, local taxes, state taxes, job outsourcing
and all of that.

:gaack:

1. Clinton
brought unemployment down from 7 percent to 5.3 percent. Bush raised it from 3.8 to 5.3

2. George Will has the brains of toilet paper, and it's as biodegradable.
Good grief! During the past year or so, I've seen gasoline prices increase by over 40%. Heating prices by 15%. Common grocery items like milk have increased by 50%; ground beef by 40%; steak by 100%. Health care has increased by nearly 20%.

Where the hell do these people get their stats that the economy is going great?

6. I'm sure George is doing just fine
He has a nice job, probably has a guy drive him around so he never buys gas, he got a really groovy tax break. Yep, life is groovy if you're George Will.

7. When the stock market hits lows for the year (last week)
The stock market is saying something that a lot of other numbers aren't. By the way, did anyone know that the markets always outperform something like 4 to 1 under Democratic administrations?
