14. It's 50/50 Dem/GOP in new registrations since 2000 in Florida
With an unusually high percentage of independents, believe it or not.
Kerry leads among independents nationwide, but not huge.

According to the most recent American Research Group poll, Kerry leads 49-41 among independents in Florida, with a relatively high 7% undecided, good news for Kerry.

8. $100 most every Evangelical was already registered
I'm worried that many of those are fake, weren't submitted properly, or the voters will be disenfranchised due to fraudulent efforts from either side, esp. the GOP.

Is anyone else as pissed off as me that it's been 4 fucking years and our election process is actually WORSE than it was then???

7. It all depends on who registered...
How many are Dem versus how many are deceased, double-voting, Diebolded, non-existant... I mean... er... Republican...

it's about 50/50. I think about 300K for each side according to what I've read. The others are Indies.

13. Tallahassee reports massive increase of 18-25 age voters--students!
http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/tallahassee/9989872.htm

Orlando had Charley. Fort Pierce had Frances. Pensacola had Ivan. This month, Tallahassee has been pummeled by political propaganda.

Two weeks away from what many call the most important election in modern history, the election craze has collided with the capital city's three colleges.

Students from Florida A&M University, Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College have been storming the campuses to urge young voters to raise their voices.

"Overall, there's a very visible increase in young people's involvement," said Ion Sancho, the Leon County elections supervisor.

Apparently, something's working. In the 2002 general election, there were more than 29,000 registered voters between the ages of 18 and 25. This year, there are more than 47,000 registered voters in that age bracket, Sancho said.
