Multnomah County, Oregon Poll: Kerry 65% Bush 21%- pollster B needs 30%
Potter, Kerry and taxes lead in Portland

In other results from the telephone poll, Democratic Sen. John Kerry led President Bush 65 percent to 21 percent in Multnomah County. That advantage could mean trouble for Bush, Hibbitts said. The pollster said Bush needs 30 percent of the vote in Multnomah County to have a chance of carrying Oregon.

The presidential poll by Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall Inc. sampled 455 Multnomah County voters and had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.6 percent.

put 7 EVs in Kerry's column!

Gore only carried the state by like 7 thousand votes and Nader took a big part as well.

3. heh heh (big smile)
I don't know where they EVER got the notion that Bush would win in Oregon (see my thread on Bush losing).

Multnomah County has always been a Democratic stronghold. I never bought the storytelling about Bush even being a contender here.

I live in Clackamas County, and we must have gotten around 10 visits from Democratic campaigners. They've been politely reminding us to vote for Kerry (as if we wouldn't!!!). We've been SO impressed with their dedication. We haven't gotten a single visit from you-know-who.

We were BOUND to win with such determination.
