Lowe's response re their advertising on Sinclair during STOLEN HONOR
Dear Valued Lowe’s Customer,

Thank you for your comment regarding concerns about advertising on the Sinclair Broadcasting network.  Lowe’s does not advertise in political programming.  We will not advertise within this political documentary, nor will the company’s local advertising appear on any Sinclair stations the day the stations air the documentary.

Lowe’s has a strict company policy specifying that its advertising is not to run in controversial programming.  The company advertises primarily in national, network prime-time television programs, cable outlets and on local stations in select markets.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Lowe’s Customer Care

One day? One day not advertising with Sinclair Broadcast Group? Not good enough! My avoidance of Lowe's will be for a very long time!

1. Fair enough for me
most of those stations are "hometown" stations. They are punishing htemselves if they don't hit those markets. They took a step and announced their displeasure, actions with words - I give them credit for the 24 hours.

2. Not sufficient

Lowes may not of been planning to run an air that day. They can also direct the network to simply replan the day their ads will air, without actually depriving Sinclair or subsidiaries of any advertising revenue.

4. However, if we reach all sponsors
THAT will have an impact. If they lose all sponsorship for that day they are in a world of hurt. I am no fan of Lowes (they royally screwed my BiL) but in my view they have done their part.

One day lost revenue can add up.
