More Voter Suppression in NC
I got a call from a Dem in NC today. Mel Watt was at a luncheon today and he had to leave early because the situation at some Charlotte-Mecklenberg polling stations had become tense. Apparently due to a hold on federal funds, early voting could not start today as advertised. Throngs of angry people, mostly African-American, were turned away.

This is disgusting. Is this how the Repukes are going to steal the election? These people are starting to make bin Laden look good and that's pathetic.

1. "scaring them away"
"Concerned about terrorists trying to disrupt the presidential election, officials in the Carolinas are trying to strike a balance between keeping voters safe and scaring them away from the polls." http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/news/9947089.htm
