Democratic party a confederacy of special interest groups

To the editor:

As we approach this year's election, it is unfortunately evident that the Democratic Party is comprised of an unholy and un-American alliance. In my view, this once great political party of FDR, JFK, Truman, and LBJ has become a confederacy of several special interest groups that promote unhealthy liberal agendas.

MoveOn.org, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, NOW, NAACP, and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance are a few examples of these tax-exempt groups that support some of the following immoral and divisive issues: gay marriages, affirmative action at the expense of fairness (code word-diversity), abortion on demand (murder), feminism at the expense of family values, and the advocacy of judges that legislate liberalism from the bench. Judges should only interpret laws!

In closing, I strongly believe in a two-party system; however, the Democratic Party is promoting group identity at the expense of individual rights and responsibility.

2. Yeah, he's right!
After all, the Republicans are supported by good, honest folks like the NRA, the Religious Right and the Ken Lays of the world, not to mention the Saudi royal family.

Oh, forgot the Swift Boat Liars and Rush, Hannity and Ann Coulter. Yep, sterling crowd those Repugs got going for them.

3. LOL
It shouldn't be funny, but "feminism at the expense of family values" actually made me laugh out loud. He obviously feels a woman's place is in the home! I just got this image of some redneck old white guy.

So, he named all of these groups that fight for individual rights, and says that we're throwing individual rights away. Don't get it. Evidently he means, we're throwing away the HIS ideals.
