Love Reagan. Just said in asking the audience questions he said on
the supreme court question, don't we all know now that the president if he is reelected will not appoint someone who will overturn the Dred Scott decision. Slavery is not coming back.

On another one, a girl who supports the war in Iraq, Reagan asked her if she would be willing to go fight. She looked really sheepish as she said no.

1. yep
I give the girl at least the credit for being honest with her answer. Maybe it'll give her something to think about - it's easy to support a war as long as you can cheerlead and not fight.

2. Ron Reagan Jr is turning into a nice pundit on our side
He's very well spoken and quite intelligent. He lacks aggressiveness but still makes great points.

He makes Scarborough almost worth watching. Almost.

4. I think he realized he was needed for balance.
He used to be a little more middle of the road, but those days are gone. :)

5. Funny moment from Thursday's show
A member of the hardball audience asked for a "liberal" member of the panel to square Kerry's position on outsourcing with the policies of Heinz Corp. Everyone looked around--there were no liberals, and Ron jr. ended up answering the question.

7. I hope Ron Reagan referred the audience to snopes for that one
There was a particularly malignant e-mail propaganda piece going around to that effect for a while. It's been thoroughly debunked.

3. Did Ron Jr
complain about Bush "hijacking" his father again, comparing his presidency to Reagan's?
