1. yep
he was trying to make a point about some 'award' given to Kerry for being 'most liberal'(playing to his base again).

He said Kennedy, not Kerry. Guess he forgot who he was supposed to be debating.

4. Yes. He's easily confused.
"My opponent" is easier than remembering his actual NAME.

8. it's in the transcript
BUSH: Let me see where to start here.

First, the National Journal named Senator Kennedy the most liberal senator of all. And that's saying something in that bunch. You might say that took a lot of hard work.

9. trouble with names
you know, you're RIGHT! I think he has trouble with names -- they belong to "other people."

John Kerry addressed each questioner by name, and circled back to some later.

That other guy -- you know, the jumpy-looking one -- NOT refer to any of the audience members by name, he forgot the name of his OPPONENT! Whew! We knew he wasn't the brightest porch light on the block, but...

10. He forgot his memorized mantra given to him by Rove..............
That Kerry is MORE liberal than Ted Kennedy, and said that Kennedy is the most liberal senator when he meant John Kerry. Kerry didn't shy away from the liberal label which the right wing has tried to turn into a slur like "commie, pinko, faggot"
