1. Not sure I follow.
Is it something to do with Kerry's experience or is he going to get hounded by the audience?

3. I smell..
"soft-ball" questions thrown at the Chimp and "hard-ball" questions thrown at Kerry. But that might not be a bad thing, especially with Kerry's experience, he will show composure and strength and answer these questions dead-on without having to repeat himself or repeat talking points like the Chimp. It will show Kerry can answer anything and he will not waver. Now I hope someone will ask the Chimp again "what is tribal sovereignty?"--I will never forget how the reporters were laughing at his answer for that one.

8. The average American is not easily fooled when the whole nation
is pay attention.

If the audience isn't allowed to show feelings, this will favor Kerry.

If the audience is allowed to show approval or disapproval this will favor Kerry.

I can't think of anything that will favor junior tonight.

16. good point. Kerry really can't lose. spotlight won't be on him. even if
audience reacts, it won't be like the crowds * is used to. he is not like Kerry who can react, adapt, and easily switch gears if a situation changes. I think he calls it "not being consistent". if he does recover, he needs a strong showing compared to JK to "catch up" in avg. American mind.

14. About the tribal sovereignty question.
I saw that and that is the day I knew he was a total idiot. He would have been better off not answering at all, instead he showed just how out of touch he is with America. The next day it was reported that Native Americans would be endorsing Kerry.

The reporters may have been laughing at his moronic response, but not the person that asked him the question.

Just one more thing added to the already huge list of reasons to not vote for Bush.

5. I think
It's just that Kerry will stay and answer every question, good and bad, pro and con, until every one is satisfied.

Bush however, appears before hand picked audiences, who lob softball questions for a pre-arranged amount of time, and then he's off to murder more people, and steal his daily quota of cash.

Kerry is gonna whup his ass tonight.

All the bad news, all the realities are going to hit Chimpy between the eyes tonight.

There is no escape from the truth, and no fleeing from the facts.

They will be in the spotlight tonight.

2. Not to mention that all of the * events have *-friendly audiences
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 04:01 PM by high density
I hope with this amount of experience that Kerry has heard almost all of the questions by now.

7.  Lots of people seem to think Bush will do so well in tonights
debate. This shows Kerry has much more experience with this format than Bush. As far as I know Bush is not even putting in that much time in practice sessions.

10. People thought he was going to do well in the first debate, too
I have no problem with these raised expectations for Bush. It worked in our favor last week.

4. And *'s were all in front of delusional oath-signing bush drones
who wanted to know things like what bush had for breakfast the day he saved us all on 9*11.

I don't think the audience tongiht is going to be so, uh, labotomized.

9. In reality those folks that want to hear something different
will be hearing the same again.

By "debates" do you mean Town Hall-style speeches?

12. Flame away but I think these idiotic town hall things are bush's forte
I think stupid is energized by this "common folk" (so called) type setting.

He can wear all his cowboy gear and saunter around looking folksy.

I won't lie I am nervous about tonight.

15. only with a friendly audience - and the questions in advance
In the 2000 debates it was the town hall meeting where Bush actually did the worst of the three debates. Even the media were unable to spin it as a victory.
