Question re Bush campaign asking for social security numbers
for people wanting to get into campaign events. It was in conjunction with signing a form saying you support George before you could be issued a ticket. Does anyone know anything about this? True, false, random rumor?

4. This is a point that has to be made clear to the public also
once and for all tonight. This is the first president in history to do that. I'd bet on it.

He's president only to the red states. How conv-e-e-e-nient.

Signed

Church Lady

5. The social security number is routine, the loyalty oath is not
Before attending a Bill Clinton speech, I had to submit my SSN so that the Secret Service could establish who I was. This was done when the Big Dog was president. So I'm guessing that this is routine. But no one asked me to sign a loyalty oath or otherwise establish myself as a bona fide Democrat.
