2. Isn't slandering & insulting other DUers against the rules?

Has DU made an exception for you? Who gave you permission to call ANYONE here a "loon"?

4. strange quote

Such was the coming-out for the movement known as "9/11 Truth," a society of skeptics and scientists who believe the government was complicit in the terrorist attacks. In colleges and chat rooms on the Internet, this band of disbelievers has been trying for years to prove that 9/11 was an inside job.

I'm not sure calling this a "movement" (it's a range of opinion, not a "movement" - movements seek social change, things like civil rights) is a good idea, nor do I like the term "truth movement" - it's Orwellian.

5. I agree it is a range of opinions &
lumping it all together causes divisiveness and, yeah, I guess it is Orwellian. They don't want to say that there are a number of people who want more evidence to illustrate what happened, which is really all it is..

6. "In colleges and chat rooms on the Internet"

The physics professors and other professionals with various areas of expertise are mentioned but immediately downplayed in the next sentence. It dumbs it down to make it sound like just a bunch of silly kids on the internets... :eyes:

7. generally i dont bother with those polls
in this case too.
1) they arent scientfic and are fairly meaningless
2) if a result comes out like the left is suppsoed to like it the right says "that poll doesnt count it was DU'd." and vicsa versa.

i mean what point does it prove? that we can hit a meaningless poll more often than them? dont we have better things to do with our time?

9. i believe in facts and my eyes
i saw the video your linked to, the ultra distorted very close up view of a building. i simply cannot tell what is going on. you believe in controlled demolition and MIHOP, so your eyes see explosions, even if they arent really there.

but that has nothing to do with the poll or my post.

10. By your logic, then OCT'ers can't see explosions even if they ARE there

Believers/supports of the OCT don't believe there were any controlled demolitions, so their eyes don't see explosions, even if they ARE really there.
