I have to preface this by saying that watching "Loose Change" over the weekend inspired me. The message was that the evidence is all out there, and the pictures don't lie. So I did a little diggiging and found one other piece to this puzzle.
There was a travelling show of pictures from 9/11 called hereisnewyork.org. Something like that. THe pictures were displayed in Chicago something like 3 months after 9/11, when the nation was still in shock over what happened. Like many other, I went, and saw the pictures, and relived all the feelings from that day. And, as I was leaving the exhibit, I bought a DVD called "The First 24 Hours" from Isis video. You cand find it online at www.thefirst24hours.com.
Anyway, it was shot by a cameraman named Etienne Sauret. He was obviously in New York on 9/11, and he kept his camera trained on the North Tower. Didn't move the camera around, and didn't say a word. The audio was striking. Something the broadcast networks didn't show on that day.
Anyway, watching "Loose Change" showed me how the ground shook just before the North Tower came down. Evidence of an explosion, it claimed. So I watched it for myself. The camera shook, and something that sounded very much like an explsion took place. Then, a couple of seconds later, the tower came down. The South Tower was already down by then, so the second collapse, while not totally unexpected, was no less horrifying.
Then I put my DVD remote to work. The cool thing about DVDs is that you can go frame by frame and not lose any picture quality along the way. Video tapes don't allow this, and even Tivo loses something when you take it frame by frame. But each frame of the DVD is clear.
So I went frame by frame backward through the collapse. It was as if the tower was rebuilding itself. And it also led me to a startling revelation. From out of the gray smoke of the collapse, there sprouted a well-defined puff of white smoke. It came out through a broken window 2 or three floors above, and slightly to the left, of where the plane flew into the building. Before the white smoke had appeared, there was a stream of gray smoke blowing out through the hole. So once I got back to where the gray smoke was, I paused the action and went frame by frame through the collapse. After the ground-shaking explosion, there are only 5 or 6 frames until the white smoke appears. It lingers in the air for 2 or 3 more frames, as the North Tower begins to collapse, and then it is overtaken by the falling debris. Those frames are the bat of an eye in real time, which is how just about everyone has seen it. But once you see it, you can't miss it.
So what causes white smoke? Certainly nothing from the plane itself, because there is ample footage of the color of smoke that produced. No, something else caused that white smoke. And that something was gunpowder. Gunpowder on the North Tower is clear proof that there is more to the collapse of the North Tower than we are being told.
I know that the resident pilot/engineer who pounces on all these theories will jump on to explain why this is impossible. I have my theories about why that seems to happen so much, but since I can't prove anything I'll keep them to myself. But to everyone else who comes on this board, please see if you can get a copy of this DVD and try it for yourself. I'm not a pilot or an engineer, but that cloud of white smoke is enough to raise a legitimate question. How did that white smoke get there? Does it suggest, coming right as the north tower was coming down, that explosives were used in the process? Seems reasonable enough to me.
