9/11 suspect organises squash tournament
Former Hamburg-cell member Squadron Leader Atif bin Mansour helped organise the 13th World Junior Men's Squash Championship in Pakistan in August 2004.

As you can see from a press release by the Mexican team (which finished twelfth - 2 places ahead of the US), Squadron Leader Mansour was on the Organizing Committee as communications director.

When in Hamburg Mansour studied, lived and ran a radical Islamist group with Atta. It's good to see he's getting on with his life. Shame the FBI never questioned him though.

2. My points are
(1) He's still alive, so I don't think he's one of the mystery hijackers;
(2) Being involved in the greatest terrorist atrocity in the history of the world doesn't seem to have hampered his career;
(3) He's never been questioned by the FBI or anyone else.

Alternatively,
Pakistanis are good at squash, they often win things, it's natrual for them to host a world championship. I think the facility the championships were held at is owned by the air force.
