Control of Hurricanes? Weather war underway?

Some will say "take off the tinfoil" and I must admit that this is pretty far out... but may not nearly as far out there as some of the other theories discussed at DU. I apologize if this is a dup, but I have seen nothing like this on DU and I am interested to see what others think about this theory:

the article goes on to talk about and show evidence of control of Katrina, Rita, and even Ophelia, the storm in between that "'almost appeared as if 'someone' was 'holding the hurricane off shore as a threat to Washington DC ... to 'catch the conscience of the King'"

And in the latest part about the most recent hurricane - Wilma:

"...This hundreds of times increase in intensity (the energy of a hurricane goes up as the square of its peak wind velocity!) -- for a storm that was barely in existence less than a day before (!) -- remarkably, began precisely coincident with the cessation of the anomalous "red tuning fork" geometry recorded earlier: at about 01:45 GMT, October 18th, 2005."

Take a look at this and maybe some of the other interesting ones from google, then let me know what you think. I have never felt less "in control" of my world than this has made me feel. I wonder if others feel the same.

3. The forces that form, shape, & develop hurricanes...

are so far outside our ability to control that this kind of theorizing is absurd.

As Bill Nye said in an interview (paraphrasing here), this hurricane season does not prove global warming itself, but what we are seeing is entirely consistent with the theory.

Seriously though, I'll readily admit that our military would love to have that capability at their disposal, I doubt they have realized any of those far-out plans described in alot of these "fringey" sites.

Moreover this thread will likely be locked before I can even post due to the bad image these weather control threads give DU, among those who can lock threads.

I was very surprised and disappointed in DU's closed mindedness. . .ClarkinMich, glad your post made it past the hatchet job.

Banning weather manipulation topic as tin-foil conspiracy is just plain censorship IMHO. . .now I wonder what's anybody here at DU afraid of hearing about this topic?

American Free Press is considered an unacceptable site for use here on DU as it has not only a hate-based agenda, but also has amply demonstrated it's lack of credibility in pursuing this agenda.
