Why this forum is ridiculous.
That the US Government under Bush was capable of the kind of black flag op that "CT'ers" claim is obvious and I doubt many here would argue it, even the "Truthers".
That Bush and Cheney were willing to go to extreme lengths to subvert US foreign policy to suit their narrow agendas is similarly obvious at this point.
Many other examples of nefarious behavior on the part of the CIA or other intelligence agencies, either planned or actually carried out could be cited easily.

So whether or not 9/11 was an inside, outside or upside-down job, the fact of the matter is, they were capable of it and, more importantly, THEY USED 9/11 TO CARRY OUT THEIR PRE-PLANNED AGENDA. This is the scariest part, not the actual fact of who did it.

We are like fools here arguing about who started a fire when the whole place is burning down. We are all tools that are being manipulated.

Truthers: Do you think it's okay that are defenses are so weak and so compromised that something like 9/11 could happen? No air defense with all the money in taxes we pay?

CT'ers: Do you really not see that the "dark forces" that were behind 9/11 had already figured us into their plans? Planting crazy ass conspiracy disinformation sites like the "no plane" crap or whatever?

We are all being manipulated and led by the nose to distract us from the fact that they did it, it's done and they have already stole the cookie jar, eaten the cookies and buried the evidence.

6. I think I stated the point of my OP clearly.
For the purpose of the OP, I am advancing the idea that it doesn't matter. That we are being manipulated in such a way that we ignore the more pertinent issues surrounding 9/11, namely that the event was used to justify a larger agenda.

Establishing that 911 is an inside job is primary since the OCT makes the wars/agenda justified.

the 911 inside job is the cornerstone of the whole house of cards, knock that one down and the empire crumbles. THAT'S why they fight so hard to suppress it.

9. I've paid close attention the past few years
There is a big difference between an overreaction due to incompetence/inattention and a premeditated effort to jumpstart an agenda. Would the overreaction be justified if 9/11 happened just as we are told? No. So I agree with you there. In fact the so called overreaction is contradictory as the two countries with the closest ties to al Qaeda--Saudi Arabia and Pakistan--were considered allies in the WoT by the Bush administration. The Bush crowd also invaded Iraq despite the lack of ties to al Qaeda.

How successful have the "rational non conspiracy activists" been in ending the wars, holding government officials accountable for all sorts of crimes and reestablishing the rule of law? The point being that they are up against the same forces of resistance (i.e. corporate interests) as those who question 9/11. The difference is that 9/11 skepticism makes people uncomfortable so they tend to apply a different standard to 9/11 skeptics. We are told to "prove our case" which is laughable considering the overwhelming secrecy involved in all aspects of 9/11. One doesn't even need to read "conspiracy books" to have doubts about 9/11. Shenon, Mayer, Suskind, Bamford and Wright all bring up issues that have never been properly addressed by any government official.

10. Not so fast
There will come a day when 'they' are well known for everything they have done. They've only been out of office for a few months but the smell that surrounded them lingers in DC. And they are still deadly.

There will be no rushing of the castle walls, instead it will come about by the sounds of millions of feet marching around the walls until the walls crumble.

The walls are already showing signs of fatigue.

This is not like JFK or anything that ever happened before. This medium that we are using to gather our forces and refine the evidence is unbeatable over the long term.

When I get to talking to someone on the street about 9/11 they are impressed with the new facts they hear from me. How did I get at those facts? Mainly through this forum.

We have been very successful, it's just that our enemy is the largest bunch of criminals the world has ever known. It will take some time before we finally overcome, but we will.

http://www.allnewsweb.com/page6916915.php

Over the next few days these events will occur:

  • NASA will finally admit that it has 'some evidence' that aliens might be monitoring earth and that it is seriously researching UFO events.

  • There will be an admittance by another government agency or relevant organization that there is reason to believe that some signals that have been picked up by radio telescope are probably of alien origin

  • The government of a major European nation will outright admit having knowledge of UFOs visiting our planet.

I can hardly contain my anticipation.

When you plug Indian Lake into something like mapsearch from the crash site, you get 6 miles because it's six miles around Indian Lake to the village of Indian Lake.

Now that I see that it will (although you didn't include the Single Point of Failure: part, it does still fit the title window), I'm happy to retract that statement. It teaches me to actually try something like that. I do have the habit of overstating things sometimes, and when people catch me in it, I quickly correct.

Nobody here (least of all me) thinks I'm perfect in every way. But I'll tell you what - do a search of my posts, and while you will find only a few corrections there, you will find them. I say the truth as much as possible, and when I'm wrong, I admit it. That is a damned sight better than many, many CT advocates around here.

I'd like to see you try to haunt me with this silly little mistake. It says a hell of a lot more about you than it does me.

It's important to have this information passed around and have as many as possible
understand it.

Like the 50 years of political violence and assassinations America has suffered, in most cases
the likely scenarios and players are known but no one has the power to overturn the coverups.

Meanwhile, IMO, there is more evidence for "no planes" than for planes.

Read the plan.

Plan A) Realize you are being duped, find a terrific solution such as tax evasion. If Plan A fails resort to Plan B.

Plan B) There is no Plan B. The reason you have come to Plan B is because it’s also 100% illegal to evade taxes and now you are screwed because you broke the law. Congratulations and tell me when you find that NWO solution we are supposed to participate in.

I prefer to piece together the puzzle by asking questions that so far have been innocent enough.

49. Congratulations, Bonobo

...and that ridiculousness is precisely why this forum exists, because there are those who would swamp the rest of DU with it, like Vikings ordering breakfast.

52. well, yes-- and far too many here think it is just a big joke
Initially, this forum was useful for spreading info on the 9/11 conspiracy, but now it is useless in that regard and the OCTists dominate everything with their sarcasm and skepticism.

But now this place is okay as a general conspiracy forum, IMO, which is useful. People still need to learn about the larger conspiracies.
