Zionist Occupation Tractors Level 2nd Floor of Palestinian Building
http://www.jihadunspun.com/index-side_internal.php?article=69583&list=/home.php&

Occupied Jerusalem - Zionist municipality tractors yesterday destroyed the second floor of a Palestinian building in Silwan village to the south of occupied Jerusalem.

The tractors were escorted by large numbers of policemen and so-called border guards while leveling the second story of Mousa Ali Al-Salfeeti's building.

The 120 square meters building is inhabited by 22 individuals, half of them children, most of whom lived in the first floor.

Three sons of Salfeeti lived in that house: Ali with 6 children, Nasser with 5 children and Mansour with 3 children while the second floor was being prepared for his fourth son Mohammed on the occasion of his near marriage.

Salfeeti's sons affirmed that they had obtained an adjournment to the demolition order at the higher court last 15th July. They added that they were only notified yesterday of the demolition when they were surrounded with large numbers of Zionist security men and municipality employees with their tractors. They asked the inhabitants to leave the house immediately before starting to pull down the second floor.

1. On the same topic,
Sharon said Israelis were thankful for every hour of "increased quiet and less terrorism," in recent weeks.

2. Apparently Israel also demolished 6 homes
In Jabel Mukaber the other day. I think there was an ICHD protest there, though I'm not sure how that turned out.

5. ah you object to use of the term 'Zionist'
but seem to have no problem with the Zionist tractors bulldozing people's homes? Interesting.

6. it's a pretty dated flamewar
The antisemite rejoices at any opportunity to vent his malice. The times have made it unpopular, in the West, to proclaim openly a hatred of the Jews. This being the case, the antisemite must constantly seek new forms and forums for his poison. How he must revel in the new masquerade! He does not hate the Jews, he is just 'anti-Zionist'!

8. well again this is a matter of terminology
you see I have come to find that the use of the word Zionist is problematic for Israelis and some of Jewish faith especially when the Palestinians or the Arabs use it in a certain context.

On the other hand if you speak with a Palestinian, they will tell you that from their perspective the bain of their non-existence seems to boil down to the early Zionist movement and their transfer policies, which it seems are still a matter of some denial. So from a Palestinian perspective, when it comes to demolitions on this order it translates to transfer...and specifically Zionist oppression, expulsion, dispossesion, demolition and for a Palestinain all of that translates to the Zionist movement of years gone by and those transfer policies that caused the refugee problem to begin with and are polices which have been in practice on and off since.

When one goes back to the more official Israeli perspectives ALL of Arab aggression stems almost entirely from anti-Semitism and is therefore not based in anything Israel or Israeli's have actually done. I believe also it is realized that when Palestinians use this word Zionists in this context the Israelis also know what it is in reference to and since the Israel doctrine basically denies there were any premediated transfer policies dating back to mandate, well when Palestinians use this word it is considered a perjorative and also it kind of reminds everybody of something that the actual doctrine denies outright... of course that is my interpretation of it...this aversion to the Palestinian use of the word Zionist.

My problem with this particular article is this: what? we have a cease fire but demolitions continue?
