Was there ever any connection between Netanyahu and the schmuck who assassinated Itzahk Rabin?

I seem to remember someone claiming that in GD a while back, but I can't recall for sure, and I can't recall whether it was concluded accurate or not.

Can anyone help me out here?

If there was a conspiracy, it would involve some connection between the settlers, the IDF and perhaps the danker sectors of Shin Bet or Mossad.

I'm pretty sure no evidence would've been left.
