Israel must pay for destruction of Gaza, says international lawyer
London
, Jan 21, IRNA – “In addition to the tragic loss of life resulting from the Israeli invasion of Gaza, much Palestinian property and infrastructure has been reduced to rubble,” Mansell said.

“This is far from the first time that this has happened and each time the international community is called upon to rebuild what has been wantonly destroyed,” he said Wednesday.

In a letter to the Independent newspaper, the international lawyer
cites the case of Iraq being forced to pay reparations both for property and lives lost following its unlawful invasion and occupation of Kuwait in 1990.

UN Security Council resolution 687 was passed stating that Iraq was “liable under international law for any direct loss, damage, including environmental damage” and war reparations were subsequently assessed at dlrs 53 bn, much of which has been paid.

2. Like Iraq and Kuwait

7. No, make Hamas pay for it. Maybe they can hold little
yard sales and sell off all of those grad rockets that were responsible for initiating the destruction of their infrastructure.

Or have their Iranian friends fork over the cash since their indirectly responsible also.
