Defensive Use of a Gun...Whoops!
This deserves its own thread....

"A homeowner in Seminole County, Fla., shot and killed a man Tuesday who was allegedly attempting to break into his home, according to Local 6 News.
Authorities said the unidentified homeowner called 911 Tuesday and said that he shot a man in his home.
When deputies arrived at the house on Hillcrest Street at about 6 a.m., they found the suspected burglar dead in the home's doorway."

But look at what really happened....

"Investigators said Robert Trott, 56, called 911 at about 6 a.m. Tuesday and said that he shot a man who had attempted to break into his home on Hillcrest Street.
Later, detectives determined that the victim was Trott's 36-year-old son, Robert Jr., according to Local 6 News. However, authorities are still not sure whether the shooting was accidental or intentional.
After four hours of questioning Trott, Smith said they found holes in the homeowner's story.
Trott's attorney advised him to stop answering questions Tuesday night, Local 6 News reported.
Authorities have obtained a search warrant for Trott's home. "

1. ?
Your point? He fucked up. I don't think they even need to punish him much. He will be punishing himself for the rest of his life. Try to restrain any feelings of giddyness that you might have at this opportunity to exploit a tragedy.

7. That Appears To Be The Pattern
Many pro-gunners seem to feel that other pro-gunners can do no wrong.

6. Using Your "Logic"...
...Marvin Gaye's father should never have been convicted of killing his son.

2. Jesus Christ, how about a little fucking sympathy?
Your making light of this man's tragedy is beneath contempt.

8. Ok, everyone got their bit in
its a deplorable case. The man screwed up, regrettably he lied about it - its one for the courts now, not for a message board where ya'll tend to disagree on occasion.

thanks, and have a good day!
