Police: Armed Robber Shot, Killed By Auto Sales Employee
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Police say an armed man robbing an auto sales store in north Columbus was shot and killed by a store employee.
The shooting occurred at Advanced Auto Sales at 657 E. 5th Avenue about 5 p.m. Monday.
According to Columbus police, the shooting stemmed from an attempted robbery. The suspected robber entered the business and asked to use the restroom, then came out showing a gun and demanding cash.
Police told NBC 4 that the attendant gave the robbery suspect money, but he said it wasn’t enough and began pistol-whipping the attendant. Another employee was able to retrieve a gun and shot the robber.

3. This one is choice because the gun not only emboldens the crime but also is used to bludgeon.
Absence of that particular gun means absence of that particular crime.

5. If you limited your posts to the stories where a gun hasn't started the mess...
I wouldn't have to repeat myself so often.

7. The fun would be forcing me to say OK Exception Which Proves The Rule.
Most of the time I only need to say thanks for proving my point.

11. Not according to most of the tales you find suitable to post.
Take away the gun as primary implement of force and the needless deaths drop off dramatically.

12. No the criminals will still have weapons nothing will stop that.
They will always prey on the weak, your little fantasy can't change that fact. The weak need a means to protect themselves from stronger predators. The founders of our country knew that and recognized that right.

10. Well you have to admit guns perform better against guns than say, oh a cease and desist order...
Or most anything else commonly available to the average citizen.
