CIA blew it in Spain.
Tuesday, March 17, 2004

Not all conspiracies are fail-safe. Sometimes they fall flat on their face. Take what just happened in Spain? That bomb attack that killed 200 innocent passengers and wounded 1500. That action could have occurred during World War Two. Blowing up trains is so retro. I guess Spain is lacking in skyscrapers. So you have to rely on old standards like blowing up trains. U.S citizens can easily be suckered if you stage a terrorist attack. Of course, chumps like me are dismissed as crackpots, so you can get away with it. After 9-11 a lot of Americans got sucked into the political right. That was the whole idea of the 9-11 conspiracy. After 911 days (Sic) of 9-11…COINCIDENCE? Anyway…. After 911 days after 9-11, they blew up a train in Spain. They figured if the Spaniards were victims of an Islamic terrorist attack, they would gravitate to the right wing Popular Party. The attack did coincide with Spain’s national elections. Bush needs all the friends he can get. I guess this was a test run for our upcoming presidential elections. Guess what! The opposite happened. The Spanish people voted for the left.
I guessed the CIA under-estimated Spain.

3. How 'bout the fact the right wingers were
in the lead prior to the bombings (if you believe polls)? Why mess with it? CIA doesn't like Bush regardless.

8. Bush has support of the armed forces, defense contractors
and other related establishments, but the CIA/FBI can't possibly back him, after being blamed for so much.

9. Ha! They are Bush's strongest backers
They are not getting fired for all the mistakes Bush makes and blames them for, are they? Of course not. So what if they are blamed, it makes no difference to them, but it sure would if Bush had to own up to his own mistakes.

The CIA/FBI are the biggest support system Bush has.

10. Uh,
on what are you basing that? I think the facts are entirely inconsistent with your claim that "the CIA/FBI are the biggest support system Bush has."

4. Welcome to DU.
IMHO, Islamic militants are perfectly capable of executing complicated terrorist attacks on their own.
