1. Cool.
Just place a 100 meter turbine every kilometer along the LA freeways,
a horizontal turbine, not the verticle ones, one designed to spin
in rising air as well... the turbine noise won't even be audible by
the freeways. The power grid's already there, and the power is right
near where it is needed. There's no need to put turbines in isolated
sites... just put them all along every freeway as part of the constructio
statndards, and the nation could contain is tnational security, have its
wealth and live a rich and long life out of central asia.

3. It's a start - but will supply less than 3% of the utility's energy needs.
The project's estimated annual generation will be enough to meet the requirements of approximately 120,000 Los Angeles residents.

Serving more than 3.9 million people in a 465-square mile area, LADWP is the nation's largest municipal utility.

4. Unless the FAA shuts the project down as it has done in about
15 other cases. The FAA is claiming that the turbines "might" interfere with radar.
