Solarstrom Plans 48 MW Ground Mounted Project (Italy)

Freiburg based, S.A.G. Solarstrom AG is to set up one of the largest connected ground-mounted projects in northern Italy in the region of Veneto. Construction will start before the end of 2010.

The planned construction of the ground-mounted system in the region of Veneto, in the municipality of Canaro, northern Italy, with a total output of 48 MWp, is the largest project to date in the corporate history of S.A.G. Solarstrom AG.

The project will be managed by S.A.G. Solarstrom AG, who will work together with their cooperation partner Solibra Solar Solutions GmbH, Lahnstein. S.A.G. Solarstrom will apply financial resources from the refinancing of completed projects in the first stage.

Work on implementation planning is currently ongoing at full power. The system will be constructed on a total area of 150 ha. All approvals have been granted, so that work on construction of the power plant can be started.
