Nope, no global warming... yeah right!

http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/science/09/03/hurricane.science.cnn.ap/index.html

Hurricanes are increasing in frequency and strength over the last
few years... trend to continue.

<snip>
"Over the past few years, we've seen an increasing trend toward
greater activity in the Atlantic Basin and increased strength
in storms," said Marshall Shepherd, a research meteorologist at
NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. " has been leading us
to believe that we are going to start seeing more intense
hurricanes. That may be bearing itself out right now."

A combination of natural cycles and warming ocean temperatures
from global warming may be fueling the destructive storms."
<snip>

Oh, BTW, Mr. Shepherd and his coworkers are the people that Bush
would like to fire from NASA, given that all of the money should
be going to a manned Mars mission.
