1. On the bright side...

...the Giants won the Super Bowl.

The stock markets will, imo, remain in trouble for some time to come.

2. Oh, you had to go there...

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I had finally come down off of my high, and now I'm right back up there again.

I fully expect the markets to be in trouble for a long time, I just wonder if the trouble's going to come gradually or all at once.

3. That was the most satisfying game...

...that I've seen in my 45+ years of watching the NFL. The 86 SB was more emotional, but this was just the best. The Giants proved themselves to be "better than perfect." Gotta love that.

And I agree wrt the markets. The only mysteries are the velocity and the depth of the trouble.

6. The markets will go down gradually

In a day or two, it'll rally, fall, rally, fall... You get the idea.

Slowly trending down till it hit's bottom.

I don't know when the bottom is going to be hit. But the bottom in the stock market will be before our economy bottoms.
