2. Good guess. Here's an mp3 for now, and a vp3 will be online later tonight.

5. Got that...
And I installed the on2 vp3 component, but it never seems to work...

I'll try re-installing it.

I want to put this onto White Rose, but I cannot do so with an encoder that people have to take pains to install. Last time I did that, I got hundreds of letters from confused users who simply could not figure it out.

So, if I *do* succeed in making the vp3 component work, I'll still have to convert it to an MPG...

6. OK, I made it work.
I had to mess with the file permissions on the component.

7. Here's a vp3 of it. You can re-crunch to whatever other format you prefer
91 M
Opens with QuickTime Player

In my experience the Sorenson3 codec (the next best codec that I've found and been able to use) results in files roughly half again as large for roughly the same quality, which is why I've been using vp3 lately.

9. Here's a lower quality QuickTime (Sorenson3 codec) as well.
63 M
To keep the file size reasonable I dropped it down to 5 fps instead of 15, but that's not too bad because it's mostly still pictures.

8. For anyone who cannot get vp3s to play . . .
Download this free player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

I never did get Quicktime to play vp3s for me so I use this player and it works beautifully.

I noticed that you were able to get Quicktime to work but for those who didnt . . .
