AA, Sirius satellite radio, and Q.about online too
Edited on Thu Apr-15-04 04:10 AM by oscar111
Hi,
Sirius just said they are starting to carry AA on some channel, a three digit channel no. I hear they have a "channel left", but the announcement did not call the AA slot by that name, only the three digit channel number.

Sirius said they are now the ONLY sat radio to host the total AA lineup, the full hours of output by AA.

Anyone know how many millions have been listeners to Channel Left on Sirius? Will that more than make up for the current temporary absence of Los Angeles?

QUESTION ABOUT ONLINE.. i saw a post title saying something about loss of free online feed. Is AA still streaming free, online the shows? I cant check on that with my browser, which AA is not set up for. Just want to know tho, if Aa is still strong in the online area. thanks!

2. AA online is free
I listen all day long while I'm at home. It's like withdrawals though here in Chicago when I get in the car. I hope (desperately) they get that little contract problem fixed PDQ!!! Anyone else notice the large number of callers from Chicago the last 2 or 3 days??? We're absolutely STARVED for a station fighting back against the saturated right-wing hate radio stations in this area.

3. Chicago silent too?
did you say Chicago is also off air? I knew LA was, but i was not clear about chicago.

Where is Soros? We need him now.
I too was mystified by that other post mentioning "free" online feed, since i have never seen many that charge. Maybe i should have taken time to actually read the body of the post. LOL

4. Yes, Chicago too
I can still listen on-line (as can the world), but I want it back on in my car.

As for Soros, IMO, we (collective we) seem to demand he pony up for everything. The dollar support he's provided has been substantial already. Frankly, I don't believe the "cash flow" rumors/stories. Granted, it's a hefty price tag for what they've accomplished already, but they seem to have a pretty solid business plan. I've been a little suprised (and pleased) when listening to hear the major players that have signed up with advertising support.
