Howard Dean to visit fan in Millington
LONG HILL TWP. - Traveling through Long Hill Township, you do not see a lot of signs supporting Democratic candidates for any level of elective office.

After all, this is a town where Republicans outnumber Democrats by more than a 2-to-1 margin; 1,708 registered voters versus 725.

However, for Gina Genovese to display a front yard sign supporting Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean, a former Vermont governor running for president, she said she feels she should not automatically be considered a party loyalist.

A nine-year resident of the Millington section of the township and owner of Gina's Tennis World tennis clinic in neighboring Berkley Heights, Genovese said Dean's charisma is appealing for a lot of first-time voters.

"I have never been political in my entire life up until now," she said.

1. Great article. More evidence why Dean is a great man.
Its moments like this that show what Dean is about.

Community.

Its individuals like Dean that make me proud to be an American and to stay involved. To me, he and his candidacy seem to symbolize coming together and belonging - traits that have been so overrun by consumerism, technological advancement and isolation.

With people like him and with more Americans inspired, connecting and building relationships, we will build healthier and more interpersonal communities again.

He rocks.
