Somebody please talk me down!
This election has me at the edge of my nerves. When the choice for president is so obvious but the election this close, it scares the living daylights out of me and I can't get any sleep because of it. If McCain wins, I might have to be taken to an asylum! Please can somebody cheer me up? I know you're all probably feeling the same way too but if there's anyone who can help me, that would be great!

3. I know exactly how you feel.
I informed my husband that if the unthinkable happened, I would not leave my bed for a full thirty days. He said that if he got the tickets to Denmark, (that is where we will live after the "End Of The World"), I would
have to come out.

4. Listen to Barack Obama. If he can't talk you down,
nobody can.

This is our time.

5. Someone said today "look at McCain's numbers, now look at Obama's"
Would you like the numbers to be reversed? :)

Obviously not because we're in a far better position to win.

6. Even if McCain wins; he loses.... long term.
The nation is ungovernable under the prevailing GOP social and economic philosophy of the last thirty years. Greenspan said as much last week. If McCain squeaks thru it will set the stage ( after much suffering, for sure) for a more fundamental accounting in 4 years.

Plus, I really don't think he's going to squeak through.

7. We just have to hold our ground, take a deep breath, and deal with this a day at a time.
On the fifth things will be better.
