Zogby: Post Saddam Bush re-elect only 47%

Bush got a modest bump in the Zogby poll. His approval rating went up to 53%.

47% would vote for Bush, 42% would vote for "any democrat"

45% say "re-elect" Bush vs. 47% who say they "want someone new"

Dean leads the Democratic race with 28% followed by Lieberman 8%, Gephardt 7%, Clark 6%, Kerry 4% and 35% undecided.

I tend to trust Zogby more than Gallup.

4. This is very encouraging..

especially considering that Zogby was most successful at predicting the 2000 vote totals.

I wonder if one helluva GOTV drive from Soros and ACT will make our margin of victory even wider?

2. likely voters move to 45 from 44 to re-elect , While no way moves 46 to 47

A one percent move on both ends.

Seems folks may like Bush - they just do not want him as president.
