Dallas and Halliburton - Need help and here we go - 1st Event 4/15
Thursday, April 15, noon-2:00 p.m.

"Death & Taxes" Demonstration at Halliburton

Even with nearly 600 Americans and more than 10,000 Iraqis dead, Halliburton is making the biggest killing in Iraq. With billions in 'reconstruction contracts' and a $200 million rip-off of the American taxpayer in overcharges and fraud, this company represents the worst of western society. Join the demonstration at Halliburton offices, 2601 Belt Line Rd, Carrollton TX.

The plan is to make this be a weekly event. If anyone here is interested and can help or would like to be there, please pm me. Thank you.

will say yes to being at the launch of a weekly vigil in front of Halliburton in Carrollton, Texas? Just saying yes for the 1st event you are not committing to any others. We just want to see the launch be successful and we are committed to making it happen weekly all through the summer until November actually. Please, DU'ers, I know you are here and are able to contribute.

Found out tonight that we have a local band called "Halliburton" that will be there on Thursday (one of the members of the band is a Professor of Economics at UTD). Hon. Lon Burnam, Exec. Dir. Dallas Peace Center, Gary Page, candidate for US Congress, District 24, Veterans for Peace and others are lined up to speak. Come help us make this be a success and help us to make it be a be a weekly vigil. If communities in other areas can hold a weekly event, why can't we. And what better place to hold a weekly vigil, HALLIBURTON, WAR PROFITEERS! DICK CHENEY.

Come out and have some fun.

PM me and I'll get back with you.

More info and flyers to download can be found at www.dallaspeacecenter.org

2. Don't know if I can make it, but...
I posted it to about 3 or 4 of the local groups I belong to. That should get a little more response!

Nothing like a bunch of bored, pissed off ex-Deaniacs to get a party started!

4. Thanks! He's very popular.
And as Demoiselle said the other night, Pyrs make great walking sandwich boards for advertising progressive causes.

He is Fargo. He is mine, and he is a mighty couch potato.
