Pole dancing as a sport? From Huffingtonpost.
Googling the term "pole dancing" is more often associated with teenagers ogling a computer screen than getting inspired. But Jenyne Butterfly is aiming to change that, most recently with her YouTube video "BEST Pole Dance Ever," currently at 150,000 hits and climbing every minute. The salacious name might be what makes you click, but the jaw-droppingly impressive acrobatics is what will make you stay.

1. She ripped off moves from a *male* pole dancer
who appeared on last season's "America's Got Talent." She is athletically gifted, yes. But also more or less a ripoff artist.

2. Isn't that the case with a lot of athletics?
Lots of figure skaters do camel spins or double axels without being dismissed for being ripoff artists. Same for a lot of extreme sports.

Not that I'm a fan of pole dancing, I'd rather see sports that aren't derived from sexism and exploitation. But the fact that she didn't invent the moves of the sport isn't the reason I wouldn't watch it.

4. She is amazing.
That is some astounding strength body control. And the scissor legs! That Stephen guy blew me away on America's Got Talent too but this gal might match him in strength and body control.
