Whee! I got tickets for Cyndi Lauper
at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA. A beautiful venue.

Concert's in July. I'm jazzed - for anybody who's been following my posts, you know her latest album "At Last" is a must-have, and I will punch anybody in the neck who disagrees.

go buy it tomorrow. It's called "At Last" and it's a collection of older pop/jazz standards. And Cyndi's got the voice to do it right.

4. I saw her about 1982 on Halloween night
Boy, there were some wild costumes in that arena. Cyndi is seriously under-rated as a singer. Cyndi and Madonna broke around the same time, and it's an injustice of sorts which one became a superstar.

6. I know... weird, huh?
I love Madonna, but she's not singing is not her best talent. Whereas Cyndi really is a vocal goddess. But she went off on the WWF track and sorta ruined her career. But lordy, she can sing.

I saw her open for Cher a few years ago and she was great. I can't wait to see her do a solo show.
